Katie Custer - Director of Business Development, Account Management, and Project Implementation

Katie's responsibilities include corporate account management, partnerships, strategic alliances, and customer project implementation. Before joining aBt, Katie spent 9 years with Sprint in account management, client services, and operations roles in the wholesale/MVNO group. Most recently, she was the Director of Business Development where she sourced and managed some of Sprint's most successful MVNOs. Prior to Sprint, Katie worked in the legal field managing the Legal Affairs Department for La Petite Academy and as an analyst for Shook, Hardy, and Bacon. Katie has a BA in Political Science from Baker University in Kansas.

Allan Flinn – Director of Finance and Business Operations

Allan’s responsibilities as aBt’s Director of Finance extend to all financial and business operations functions for the company including accounting, reporting, IT, and database development. Before joining aBt, Allan worked for Best Buy, Co., Inc., where he managed the finance function for its Business-to-Business retail and direct divisions. He has also held management positions in Finance and Strategy functions at two other telecommunications firms, Onvoy and McLeodUSA, and he began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP as a Public Accountant. Allan is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of CPAs. Allan graduated with a BA in International Relations/Political Science from Carleton College in Minnesota and also earned an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota.

Doug Carey, Chairman & Co-Founder

Prior to founding aBt, Doug's experience has been in technology, finance, and strategy. He served as the Vice President of On-line Operations at HomeServices.com and prior to that he was the Director of Business Development at Circon Corp where he successfully defended the world's longest hostile takeover defense. Doug also was an Investment Banker at Bear Stearns, a Systems Strategy Consultant at Accenture, and a Public Accountant at Deloitte Haskins & Sells (predecessor to Deloitte). His entrepreneurial experience is extensive, successfully starting and profitably exiting 6 companies. Doug graduated from the University of Minnesota, first in class, with BS degrees in Economics, Statistics, and Physics. He also holds his MBA from Stanford.

Sara Christensen Vaccarielli - Co-Founder

Before starting aBt, Sara managed marketing, communications, and business development at Oloop.com, Homeservices.com, and Edina Realty. She joined Edina Realty from Midwest Importers where she headed up marketing and corporate communications. Sara also worked for a City of Chicago development agency where she helped entrepreneurs start, market, and sell businesses in Chicago. Sara possesses a BS in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University.
