Website Production Manager
alwaysBEthere (aBt) is a wireless solutions provider headquartered in Minneapolis, with outposts in San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver and Kansas City. To capitalize on the current period of growth and expansion, and to ensure recent opportunities come to fruition, and continue with success, an immediate need for an experienced Website Production Manager at our Minneapolis location has arisen.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with clients to create new and improved "outside of the box" website experiences, with a focus on usability
Perform daily administrative maintenance of websites
Create Sitemaps, and plan and execute strategy for new concepts
Work closely with design and development teams to coordinate project timelines and programming for client projects
Apply innovative thinking to improve online business with an overall simplicity that improves ROI, usability, content layout, and tools
Manage timelines, and website layout from concept to completion
Test new implementations and interfaces within our content management system
Write functional specifications, wire frames, task flows, and schematics, craft detailed guidelines for technical development, interface design, testing, and maintenance of entire web experience
Collaborate with our software engineers to ensure technical functionality and new modules created are simple to use in our backend and provide value
Qualified candidates must have the following:
Well-versed in, and solid understanding of, database applications, websites and internet marketing
Great communication skills
Previous Website Management experience
Experience in hands-on user interface architecture - website design and development - and information architect experience
Heavy emphasis on information design and usability
Strong E-commerce experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and HTML editing tools also required
Expertise defining site architecture - representing through Site Maps
Passion for details, organization and simple interface design skills
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
Beyond your "role," you will be an integral part of an overall pioneering team and can be called upon, along with everyone else, to shuttle out-of-town visitors to airports, take out trash, do dishes, whip up hot cocoa for guests, or chase down the FedEx truck to take just one last package. You name it, if it moves the enterprise forward, you'll likely be called upon to do whatever it takes to accrue an ever-growing base of astounded, advanced real-time mobile solutions users.
